Meet, Occy the Octopus.
Occy is hungry. So, so hungry. Lucky for him there’s plenty of fish around. Unlucky for him his world is a dangerous place. There’re sharp rocks, falling spikes... and dont forget about the Eels whose favourite snack is… well Occy!
Take control of Occy and help him catch some fish whilst avoiding all those nasty things. Use Occys ink burst to avoid death and work around obstacles. With each fish giving him more ink. Occy can store up to 250 ink and each jump consumes 50 ink so be careful not to waste it! But the longer you survive the faster you swim! Gravity causes Occy to swim faster and faster, making it harder and harder to get the fish Occy loves most.
By catching fish Occy not only creates ink he also earns points depending upon the size of the fish. Small fish give 25 ink and 2 points. Big fish give 50 ink and 5 points. He also needs to remember to keep an eye out for the rare Gold fish. Occy can not create ink by catching a gold fish but it does allow him to get a higher score. Gold fish are score multipliers, with the first Gold fish being a 2 times multiplier and each fish afterwards increasing it by 1.
Rocks continually appear at the bottom of the screen as Occy falls. These rocks continually and randomly change and sometimes rock parts break off after Occy swims by, so Occy also needs to watch out for falling spikes trying to squish him… Lurking around the rock formations are nasty Eels that would love nothing more than an octopus snack.
By going to the skins page, you can see what it takes to earn new skin variations for Occy. Each new skin requires specific achievements to unlock it, but it is well worth the effort. The new skins dont just change Occys appearance they also give him new abilities unique to each skin. Such as starting a game with 100 ink, becoming immune to those nasty things, or even grant Occy a second life and much more. This allows you to pick an ability that works best to help Occy get some more of those yummy fish.
